The latest tablets which comes under a price bracket of Rs.15,000 has increased in the past six months. What screen size to opt for and many more? Here is a simplified checklist which will be very helpful while buying your first tablet.

1. Do You Really Need A Tablet?

If you are thinking to buy a tablet as a replacement for smartphone or laptop or PC then better not to buy. As you know most tablets available in the market are not capable of making voice calls as you do in smartphones. There are some tablets with built-in voice calling functionality using cellular network, but it doesn’t give sort of work satisfaction in tablet as you had on computers, especially for designers.

However tablets have their own advantages over smartphone and computer. They are portable enough to carry around and offer the portable way to check mail, browse the web, watch movies, listen to music and play games in a bigger screen compared to smartphone’s small screen size.
