These Android Devices Getting Jelly Bean Update

Sony

Sony is planning to update its 2012 models of Xperia lineup smartphones to Jelly Bean. This includes its flagship smartphone Xperia S and Sony Xperia P, Xperia Neo etc.

Few months back the Sony has announced the Android ICS update for Xperia S in its official forum post.“Xperia S is planned to get ICS somewhere around late May/early June. That’s what’s been said and that’s still what we’re sticking to,” wrote Sony in its official forum post.

While its launch at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 in Las Vegas, the company had promised to updated the Xperia S operating system to the Google’s latest Android version 4.0 and now it’s time for the latest Jelly Bean update. Well we hope Sony will also roll out the OS upgradation for Xperia P.

The company said the 2011 lineup models will not receive any updates. But now Sony has informed that it is still evaluating which 2011 handsets will get the upgrade.
