The Much Awaited Budget SmartPhone Moto G Due For A Jan Launch


Bangalore: The much awaited budget Smartphone Moto G which was due for a launch will be finally available to the customers. Even though the fixed date has not been revealed, but Motorola confirms that it will hit the market by early January 2014.

The company confirmed the launch plans in a reply to a person named @Rajkumar_geek in a request raised by him on the twitter handle.

Moto G which is Motorola’s first post Google budget Android Smartphone, which has a positive, reviews all over. The phone is been praised for its value for money and its comes with decent features which the other companies are not able to give at this price range.

The unlocked version of Moto G is available for $179 at U.S. retails, so in India we expect to be prized around 13, 000 for the 8 GB versions and 15,000 to 16,000 for the 16 GB versions. These are the expected prices for the single SIM versions, but if Motorola plans to launch the dual-SIM versions the price may be higher.

The release details will be reveled soon as Motorola has already imported around 240 models of Moto G for its pre-launch testing.

To know more about the phone, Moto G features a 4.5-inch 720p HD display, quad-core QUALCOMM Snapdragon 400 processor that can work on a speed of 1.2GHz; an Aderno 305 GPU along with 1 GB RAM will have an enhanced graphics and smooth navigation. It will also hold Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth 4.0 with Android 4.3(it is likely that it may feature the 4.4 kit-Kat versions pre-installed), but the draw back is it not expandable.
