Specs Of Alleged Sony Device Points To Google Nexus 5


Bangalore: LG, the proprietary manufacturers of Google’s Nexus Series of Smartphones had already denied rumors on an LG-made-Nexus device. Surprisingly, the new manufacturer heading Google’s Nexus mission would be Sony, reports Android Authority.

The reports emerge after specifications and leaked images of a Sony device, i1 Honami hit the web. The mind blowing specs of this Smartphone points to the Google’s rumored flagship, Nexus 5. Since Google already released its own edition of Sony’s flagship Xperia Z, these rumors cannot be ruled out completely.

The alleged Smartphone, i1 Honami with a 5 inch screen of 1920×1080 resolution will be powered by the new series of Snapdragon 800 chip, clocked at 2.3 GHz. The rest specifications are: 2 GB RAM, NFC, 32 GB Internal memory with MicroSD slot, WIFI Miracast that allows transfer of HD videos to other Miracast enabled devices including TV and desktops, 4G LTE, IR Remote, 13 MP Exmor RS camera with Sony G lens, a Cybershot Camera, and Interchangeable lenses, 2.2 Megapixel front camera that can shoot 1080 p videos, BlueTooth 4.0 and Android 4.2.2

The reports suggest that device will be made of metal or carbon fiber shell with a shatterproof front glass and will be debuting in the fall, ie anytime after September.
