Sony's New Flagship Compact Camera for 34,990

Bangalore: Sony had released their latest flagship compact camera Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 in Indian market at a price point of 34,990. This new model from company has similar image technologies like Auto Portrait Framing which you can find only in Sony’s Alpha range of A-mount and E-mount cameras. 

The Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 sports a 1.0-inch type Exmor CMOS sensor along with a resolution of 20.2 megapixels.  The sensor area is comparatively larger than other point-and-shoot cameras in the market and due the larger sensor area this new camera can take more amount of light while capturing images and videos.

There is a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T fixed lens with 3.6x optical zoom range and a wide F1.8 maximum aperture. The lens has a seven-bladed circular aperture and an Advanced Aspherical (AA) lens element, these two features helps you to take images with less blur and better focus and zoom.

The camera features a high-resolution 3-inch 1,229k dot Xtra Fine LCD display which has new technology named WhiteMagic incorporated in it for better screen brightness. The presence of control ring around the lens body lets you make manual adjustments. This new shutterbug also offers six different creative styles and a range of popular picture effects like Toy Camera, Partial Color, HDR Painting and many more.
