Sony's Budget Smartphone Xperia Tipo Up for Pre-order

Bangalore: Two months after Sony unveiled their budget Android smartphones, they are now available in the Indian market for pre order. Sony Xperia Tipo is available on Flipkart for 9,499 and Xperia Tipo Dual is available for 10,299. Xperia Tipo and Tipo Dual is Sony’s effort to make an entry into the budget Smartphone market.

The Sony Xperia Tipo has a 3.2 Inch TFT touch screen. The smartphone is powered by an 800 MHz processor and is backed by a 512 MB of RAM. The phone functions of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It has a 3.2 mega pixel rear camera. It also supports Wi-Fi, 2G and 3G along with Bluetooth and FM Radio. The smartphone runs on a 1,500 mAh battery. Xperia Tipo comes with pre loaded apps like Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp.

The Sony Xperia Tipo Dual has all the same specifications of Xperia Tipo except that Tipo Dual comes with dual SIM (GSM + GSM) support.
