Sony to Launch its Three New Smartphones on Oct 21


BANGALORE: The Japanese smartphone giants Sony is planning to host a special event on 21st October. The event is said to be conducted for launching the companies Xperia Z5 range of smartphones. Earlier the company had introduced its upcoming three smartphones which are the Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Premium and Xperia Z5 Compact, reports The Indian Express

The companies new venture feature a various new technology and the Xperia Z5 Premium will be the world’s first 4K-screen smartphone. The phone was previously showcased by the company at the IFA 2015 event.  Sony Xperia Z5 features 5.2-inch full HD screen and it has Android Lollipop 5.1.  The phone also consist 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 (MSM8994); Adreno 430 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, which can be expandable till 200 GB. The camera in the Z5 series is of 23 mp in the rear and 5 mp on the front. The battery for the Z5 is 2900 mAh.

When compared with Xperia Z5, The Xperia Z5 Premium has the similar specs other than the 4K screen; it also has a bigger battery 3430 mAh.

But The Xperia Z5 Compact version as the name refers is smaller in size and has 2GB RAM, 4.6-inch HD screen and a 2700 mAh. Rests of the features are the same as the other two smartphones. Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium will be available in both single SIM and dual-SIM variants.
