Sony Xperia Z Facing Sudden Death

Bangalore: “Everything is about to change.” Finally the prophecy comes true for Sony’s flagship device Xperia Z – sadly, for Sony, the change is not exactly what they had hoped for.

‘The best of Sony’ is what the flagship device was called by the Japanese conglomerate but it has only spelled its doom. Sony Xperia Z now faces a deal breaking problem that mysteriously renders the phone senseless for no apparent reason, bummer! For the flagship device will sink to rock bottom now.

Many Xperia Z users have complained and speculated about this on the Sony forum. Many have also visited Sony service centres, but without much success.

“I've newly had my Xperia Z today and it's totally dead. I had a full charge last time I looked and was using it about 5 minutes ago. No reaction trying to turn it back on (holding the power button for 10 seconds).” said a worried Xperia Z user.

Sony has acknowledged the fact that the devices are dying suddenly, but has also promised that it will bring in an update for the device really soon so that more such incidents do not happen. But if somebody's device is already dead then there is no way to revive it other than by shipping it back to the company to get its life back.

Sony has claimed that it has identified the issue but hasn't leaked a word about it or about the release of the update, even after the release of the update it is only a fool’s guess as to how many people are going to be willing to use such a faulty device again. Is this a dying slumber of the Japanese manufacturer? Let’s hope not because we loved the Cyber-shot maker just a few years ago.
