Bangalore: The much rumored smartphone – Sony Xperia SL will be available in the market soon. The company has officially listed this smartphone as ‘coming soon’ in its website. The Sony SL is said to be a refreshed version of the company’s flagship smartphone Xperia S.
The Xperia SL sports 4.3 inch TFT scratch resistant Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine for better and brighter display. The screen has a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The device is powered with Qualcomm MSM8260 Dual-Core processor at a clock speed of 1.7 GHz, 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system also can be upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The phone also features 12.1 mega pixel camera at the back with Exmor R mobile camera sensor, auto focus, 16x digital zoom and LED flash. The camera can also record full HD video and a HD front facing camera for video chats and calls.
It will also feature internal memory of 27.8 GB and user will get up to 25.8 GB for usage. The Xperia SL comes with new Sony Walkman app which features a manual equalizer, surround sound and a beautiful, dynamic and intuitive user interface for better music. The company claims it will provide up to 8 hours 15 minutes of talk time, up to 410 hours of standby time, up to 33 hours of music listening time and up to 6 hours 30 minutes of video playback time.
As of now the company has not released any official statement regarding its availability and price.
