Sony Ericsson Launches Xperia Neo V and Xperia Pro in India
Bangalore: Sony Ericsson has officially announced two new Android 2.3 Gingerbread phones for the Indian market, the Xperia Neo V and Xperia Pro. However, official pricing is 
18, 000 for the Xperia Neo and 23, 995 for the Pro.
Xperia Neo V comes with Gingerbread Android 2.3 operating and 1 GHz processor. The screen is a 3.7 inch multi touch reality display with Mobile BRAVIA engine (a technology that Sony uses in its TV sets). Has a 5 MP camera with LED Flash and auto focus which can shot in 720p HD mode.
The phone gets a 1500 mAH battery, and all the other features such as 3G, WiFi, GPS, and Google's services like Maps, Gmail, Gtalk, and the Android app market. Sony Ericsson Neo V gets only 32 MB of internal storage and the memory is expandable upto 32 GB through SD card. The phone is equipped with a slide out QWERTY keypad.
Coming to the Xperia Pro, it has 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon SOC with a display 3.7 inches. It comes with a LED back lit capacitive touchscreen LCD. It has 8 MP camera capable of recording 720p HD videos. It has a 32 GB expandable memory slot as well.
The phone can be used as a USB host, which enables users to connect PC, keyboard, or gaming consol. Other features include, HDMI port, DLNA, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G etc.
