The other big handset manufacturers like Samsung and HTC have already released Google Edition of their flagship devices Galaxy S4 and HTC One.

For a phone to get the tag of Google play edition it has to wipe out the usual custom skinning and bloatware that’s already embedded in the device. It should be free from user interface skins and other fripperies and instead embrace the pure, unadulterated version of the Android operating system.

These Android gadgets were made aiming at android aspirants and android developers and cost more than  their twins  with custom Android OS. In comparison with their counterparts they have the advantage of air updates so that every time the Google updates the android system.
