Sleek, Wide 'LG Optimus L7' Hitting Indian Stores


Bangalore: Indian market is going to have a blast from the starting of June 2012. All major smartphone makers like Samsung, Sony, Nokia and BlackBerry are going to launch some of the most awaited models in Indian by the end of May or in the starting of June. LG has also joined this pack with the scheduled launch of its flagship smartphone LG Optimus L7 around last week of May, reports MobileIndian.

This sleek L-shaped smartphone of LG was first showcased in this year’s MWC (Mobile World Congress). The L-shape design of the device is meant to increase the usability of its huge 4.3-inch touchscreen display, for better navigation and keyboard functionalities.

The 4.3-inch display comes with WVGA (480x800) pixel resolution and the device sports 8 MP camera with LED Flash, 1.3 MP front facing camera, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB onboard storage with 2.8 GB user accessibility. The device is powered by single-core 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile processor, Adreno 200 graphics chip and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. For connectivity it supports Near Field Communication (NFC), Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPRS.

Other smartphones which are going hit Indian market within the two months are; the latest Samsung Galaxy S3, Sony Xperia P, Xperia U and Xperia Sola, Nokia Pure View 808 and Lumia 610, and BlackBerry Curve 9320.  HTC has already made its entrance with its recently launched One Series smartphones which includes HTC One V and the high-performing quad-core HTC One X.
