Samsung's Galaxy J1 (2016) Reportedly Launched in Dubai

BANGALORE: In 2015, Samsung dazzled many customers with their budget oriented premium Smartphones - J Series. Recently, there were rumours about the 4.5-inch Galaxy J1 (2016) circulating all over the internet. But it is a shocker that the South Korean tech giant has secretly launched the Galaxy J1 in Dubai, reports NDTV.

The Smartphone comes with the similar design as the existing J series handsets. The new Galaxy J1 is spotted with regular color options and a golden color scheme as well. Earlier this week, GSMArena posted pictures of the spoken phone alongside the price tag of AED 499 (Approx. 9,000) that was sold at Jumbo Electronics showroom.

The novel Galaxy J1 is 2 times powerful than the existing Galaxy J1 as it is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory with an expandable option too. The Galaxy J1 (2016) sports the bright AMOLED display and packs in a 2050mAh battery. As far as the cameras are concerned, J1 features a 5MP primary camera and a 2MP front-facing camera.

However, the firm hasn’t revealed the expected Indian launch of the device. On the other hand, the flagship, Galaxy S7 is set to launch as we hear numerous rumours on the device such as it will powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC with 3 or 4GB of RAM.
