Bangalore: If there was an award for the maximum number of gadgets unveiled at the 2012 IFA, Berlin, Germany, Samsung would win it hands down. They are ready with gadgets like the Note II, the ATIVS Windows Phone, a Galaxy Camera that runs on Android operating system and now they have launched their ATIV Tab which functions on Windows RT. The products that run on Windows RT are the ones that run on ARM based processors.

The ATIV Tablet comes with an impressive 10.1 inch touch screen with an equally impressive resolution of 1366 X 768 pixels. The tablet will function on a powerful 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core processor and is backed by a 2 GB RAM.  The device comes in two memory variants; 32 GB and 64 GB. The tablet offers the user a 5.0 mega pixel rear camera and a 1.9 mega pixel front facing camera which would enable the user to make video calls.

The device is backed by a powerful 8,200 mAh battery. The tablet is sleek and slim and at its thickest point it only measure 9.9 mm and weighs 570 grams. The tablet also offers its user with the feature of Near Field Communication (NFC).

The physical design of the tablet looks quite similar to that of the Galaxy Note 10.1. Samsung hasn’t yet revealed the price of their Windows RT tablet though they have said that the tablet will be in the markets on October 26, 2012 at the time when Microsoft launches their Windows 8 and Windows RT.
