Samsung Google Chrome OS Notebook Revealed


Bangalore: Samsung Electronics, one of the largest electronics company in South Korea, will release Google's first Chrome OS-powered notebook, Cr-48, codenamed "Alex" this summer. The notebook might come with a subscription policy attached to a Google account and a rental plan this summer. Samsung's notebook will have features like the 1280x800 display with 1.5GHz dual-core Atom N550, 2GB RAM and SanDisk SSD P4 of with unknown capacity. It also includes a Qualcomm Gobi 2000 3G card, a synaptics touchpad, a webcam, Wi-Fi and a Bluetooth. It is believed that the laptop will make its appearance at Google's developer's conference because of its 10inches in size, held at San Francisco in two week's time. With the launch of the new Chrome OS notebooks by Samsung, many other manufacturers are coming up with the notebooks of their brands. This launch of Chrome OS by Google is an attempt to move from the mobile space with Android into the more mainstream PC market.
