Samsung Galaxy Trend Appears Online For Rs. 8,700

Bangalore: Samsung has added a new model into their mid range segment, the Galaxy Trend. The phone is listed on Samsung’s official website and is also available for purchase on major online stores. Even though there are lots of speculations on the specs, according to GSM Arena, the model runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and comes with a price tag of 8,700.

The gadget houses a 4 inch capacitive touchscreen with TFT display having a resolution of 480 X 800 pixels. Under the hood lies a dual core processor clocked at 1GHz coupled with 512MB of RAM. The dual SIM Smartphone holds a built-in storage memory space of 4GB that can be expanded up to 32GB with a Micro-SD card. Galaxy Trend only weighs 126 grams, which makes it easy to carry around. The gadget comes with a dimension of 121.5 x 63.1 x 10.85mm.

The handset sports a 3MP primary camera with features including single shot, panorama, smile shot, share shot and photo effects; however does not include LED flash. All the major connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS and 3G are supported by the model. Galaxy trend is fuelled by a 1500mAh battery pack which is good enough to drive the gadget for 8 hours on talk time.
