Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 Comes to India For 30,900

Bangalore: Though Samsung's Galaxy tab 730 and Galaxy Tab 750 were announced together in India, the official release of Galaxy Tab 730 was yet to be announced. But now you can easily avail the 8.9 inch device in India via online retailers Flipkart and Lets Buy for 30,900. The tablet supports 1280 x 800 pixel resolution along with 8.9 inch TFT display. The Tab 730 is powered with NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset with a 1GHz dual-core processor and a ULP GeForce GPU that makes it to easily handle Full HD video playback. It also features Adobe Flash 10.3 plus enriched with custom Honeycomb dubbed as TouchWiz UX, instead of vanilla Android 3.0 OS. The device offers 16GB Internal memory, 1GB RAM, Bluetooth 3.0 and HSPA+ connectivity. Fortunately, the company does offer the USB accessory as part of the USB connection kit. The tablet has a 3 megapixel rear camera, with auto-focus, that may emerge out as average one but is proficient in recording 720p HD video. The secondary 2 megapixel camera in the front supports video chats. Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 features a 6100 mAh battery that easily lasts for 10 hours of moderate usage. With a mere difference of 3, 000 in the price between Tab 730 and Tab 750, consumers are likely to choose the one with a bigger touchscreen, though it is too early to forecast anything yet. Samsung has not announced any news regarding Android 4.0 updates for Galaxy Tab 730 and Galaxy Tab 750 tablets as Google is yet to release the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich source code for tablets. That's the reason Samsung has not hinted at any timeline of Android 4.0 updates for its tablets. However, both will be getting the update in due course of time.
