Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Reaches India, Finally!

Bangalore: After a long wait Samsung has launched its 10.1-inch Android tablet under its Tab 2 series in India for a price tag of 32,990. As we say ‘better late than never’, this high-end device is one of the best tablets PC to own and now Indian customers can order it from company’s e-store.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is the second ICS running tablet from the company for the Indian market, the previous one was the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 2 310. The new tablet was first showcased at this year’s MWC (Mobile World Congress) and is the successor of the company’s Galaxy Tab 750.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is engineered with a 1GHz dual core processor, 1GB RAM and works on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system. The tablet sports a 10.1-inch capacitive screen which comes with PLS (Plane to Line Switching) technology and is made of Corning Gorilla Glass. The device comes with 16 GB of internal storage which is expandable to 32 GB using microSD card slot and also has 3MP rear camera and a front camera for video chatting.

Other features include; Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB port, A-GPS support, Image/video editor, Document editor/viewer and has a standard Li-Po 7000 mAh battery.
