Samsung Galaxy S7 SoC Score Breaks Benchmark Records




BANGALORE: The rumors regarding the next Samsung flagship Smartphone is flooding the internet. As the anticipation for the Galaxy S7 builds, the new leaks from AnTuTu score reveals that Exynos 8 Octa 8890 SoC gets a benchmark score that tops above all others. However, the unnamed device is expected to be the Samsung Galaxy S7 but it has the model number of SM-G9300, reports NDTV.

The handset achieved an all time high score of 103,692, which has set a world record. The Japanese firm introduced Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor earlier this November and it is the first custom-designed 64-bit ARMv8 architecture CPU.

Earlier rumours spoke about Samsung Galaxy S7 being powered by a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC for certain markets and the rest will get the new Exynos powered Galaxy S7. In addition to that, Galaxy S7 will feature touch sensitive display similar to the current iPhone 6s and 6s Plus and the size of the display stay the same at 5.2-inch.

On the other hand, unannounced Samsung Galaxy A7 was listed on US FCC certification website spilling beans on the dimension and battery capacity of the handset. According to the leaks, the new A7 will sport a 5.5-inch display with the measurements of 151.5x73.95x6.95mm and weighs 155 grams.

The new A7 is powered by 3,300mAh battery but the current A7 sports a battery with 2600mAh battery. The specifications of Galaxy A7 (2016) is listed by Tenaa and according to it – a 5.5-inch FHD display, the 1.7GHz Octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM powers the phone.

Once again, a 16GB internal memory with expandable option up to 128GB and it will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop. On the camera front, a 13MP primary shooter mounted at rear and a 5MP front-facing shooter helps to click selfies on the go. Altogether, the new Galaxy A7 will be a power packed phone along with a record breaking flagship – Galaxy S7.
