Samsung Galaxy S4 Is Here! Its Bigger, Thinner And Smarter

Bangalore: Samsung, launched its all-new flagship Galaxy S4, rumored to be Android’s best phone yet. After too much of speculation and hype, Galaxy S4 still has much more up its sleeve than the rumors leaked.

Even with lots of upcoming software, like an enhanced camera application, hover-style gesture features, and a range of apps and services from Samsung, the Galaxy S4 has brought the heat in the hardware sector.

The device is ridiculously thin, with a 5-inch, 1080p Super AMOLED display of 441ppi. The body is made up of polycarbonate and it comes in two colors, ‘black mist’ and ‘white frost’. The company is unsure about the exact brand of the processor for the U.S version, but it is said to be powered by quad-core 1.9GHz Snapdragon CPU and it is believed to be the Snapdragon 600. ‘Processors will vary region wise’, said Samsung, and the Asian and European version will sport the much-awaited Samsung Exynos 5 Octa eight-core processor.

The phone runs on Android latest version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, and has 2GB RAM, with an internal memory storage offering 16GB, 32GB and 64GB and can be expanded via microSD card to 64GB.The Galaxy S4 uses a new 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, autofocus, and 1080p video recording. On the front, it sports a 2-megapixel camera.

The ‘wow’ factor of the device is its software which offers various particulars like, gesture-based head-tracking stuff, Air View, Air Gesture feature, magic-scroll eye-tracking technology and head-tracking technology. Besides, it offers a handful of brand new apps like S Translator, Optical reader, ChatOn and S Health app.
