Samsung Galaxy S3 to Cost 42,500 in India

Bangalore: Samsung’s recently launched flagship smartphone under its Galaxy series-the Galaxy S3-will cost around 42,500 in India, reports IBN Live. Like Apple’s iPhone, Galaxy S3 comes in three models-16GB, 32GB and 64GB. There are no details whether this price tag of for the basic model or the high end model.

Samsung Galaxy S3 is meant to compete with the Apple’s iPhone 4S costing around 45,000 for the basic model.  So, we can assume that this rumored price tag of Galaxy S3 will be for the basic model and there will be more price wars in the market regarding the other variants.

Galaxy S3 weighs 133g and has a thickness of only 8.6 mm. The device is powered by the most advanced high-performing Quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.0. It sports a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixels, 8 MP rear camera with flash and zero shutter lag and has a 1.9 MP front camera for video calling.

The company has also announced some cool accessories for Galaxy S3 which includes wireless charging stand, new C-Pen Stylus and many more which will add-up to the utility of this smartphone.

This new member of Galaxy is supposed to hit Indian market by this June; most probably you will see it before June 10.
