Bangalore: Samsung has sent out press invite in Germany for its upcoming event on October 11. The press invite carries a tag line which translates into – “something small to make it big” and “so big can be small and so small can be big”.
The press invite also carries some hidden clues like the S logo of the most popular smartphone Galaxy S III. The text and images in the invite apparently suggest that the company might launch a smaller sized Galaxy S III smartphone on October 11. The launch date of Galaxy S III Mini is just one week before the launch of Apple iPad Mini.
This press invite of Galaxy S III Mini has created a huge buzz but it is not the first time we have heard about a small version of S III. The Galaxy S III Mini rumors first hit the internet back in August and some reports had already said the S III Mini would launch in the Q4 of this year.
The Samsung Galaxy S III Mini is expected to features a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, 5 mega pixel camera and will be powered with Dual-Core processor. Other details are not available but we hope it will have a lower price and will be a best seller in the Indian market.
