Samsung Galaxy Note II: Recap of the Rumors

Bangalore: Well ever since Apple has announced their up-coming release of iPhone 5 and iPad Mini on September 12th 2012, even Samsung has been busy announcing their future plans. Along with the launch news, another big news to come out on 10th August 2012 was that Samsung won the patent to design and manufacture perfume smartphones. With the two smartphone and tablet giants running neck to neck in the market and in the launch dates all we can do is wait and watch what’s in store for the gadget consumers.

Samsung has already sent out its invites to their second “Mobile Unpacked” event and the gadget that is expected to be unboxed in the event is Samsung Galaxy Note II. The event has been scheduled for the same day, August 29th, as last year when they launched their Galaxy Note I. The event is scheduled to happen in Berlin, Germany.

Apart from the events details we have no other detail regarding what the new Note will look like but there is a rough idea of how the hardware might look.

The supposed massive 5.5-inch screen size of Note II might just prove to be a major crowd puller and the expected resolution is nothing less than awesome. It would come with 1680 X 1050 pixels resolution. The rumored screen size and the screen resolution will make the Note II the sharpest of all the smartphones and phablets currently in the market. If that wasn’t enough good news for the users, here is more; the screen might be unbreakable as Samsung is said to have used “plane display” technology.

The Note II will be powered by a 1.7 GHz dual Core processor backed by a 1.5 GB of RAM along with a 4G LTE connectivity. The processor is said to match up to Galaxy S III but with an added advantage of better battery life and management. There are also sayings that the RAM size can be increased up to 2 GB which would indeed be a treat for the users.

There are many different views and rumors regarding the camera. There is confusion between an 8 mega pixel camera and a 12 mega pixel one. We are hoping that it would be the latter.

If all these rumors are true then the gadget fans are surely in for a treat.
