Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Gets Android Jelly Bean Update


Bangalore: Samsung has recently released the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for its flagship smartphone Galaxy S III in India and now the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet gets the update. According to a report on All About Samsung, a German website, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet is also receiving Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.

As of now the Jelly Bean update is only available in Germany. The update is available through Over-the-Air (OTA) and is recommended to update using Wi-Fi network.

The Note 10.1 tablet comes with a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 800 X1280 pixels. The Note 10.1 is powered by a 1.4 GHz Quad Core Cortex A9 processor, with 2GB of internal RAM. The device also includes a 5-megapixel main camera and a 1.9 megapixel front facing camera which allows the users to make video calls.

With the upgrade of the operating system the usage of the S Pen will also improve. The tablet also supports Multi Screen functions and the applications which are supported by this function are S Note, Internet Browser, Video Player, Email, Gallery, and Polaris Office.

Apart from this the note has a lot of successful features of the Samsung Galaxy S III like the Smart Stay features which prevents the device from going into standby mode when it can detect a user in front of it.
