Samsung Already Working on its Next Big Release The Galaxy A9 Pro

BENGALURU: Samsung recently has been creating waves through the launch of its new Galaxy S7 and S7 edge phones and all the glam and glitz surrounding the event has received every possible appreciation.  But it came as a surprise to all the techno-geeks when design and specifications of a certain new Samsung phone was leaked,  the alleged Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro.

The device, which would be an upgrade to the existing A9 model, is expected to come with a metal frame, following the norms of all the ‘A’ series phones. It is expected to have thesame camera specifications as the Galaxy S6, with 16MP on the rear but with an 8MP selfie camera with a wide angle view. It would consist of the same 6” AMOLED screen with a full HD display (1080 x 1920 resolution) and 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with Adreno 510 GPU. While in the storage front, the phone would have a 32GB internal memory with micro SD slot facility that is expandable up to 128GB.

Although the device has few specifications similar to its predecessor, it is packed with a set of pleasant surprises as well. The standout feature amongst that is the ‘removable battery’. That’s right, after considering a lot of suggestions from customers and understanding their grievances when it comes to the battery, Samsung has modeled the phone in such a way that the battery can be removed and replaced quite easily. This is great news for everybody since all the previous editions of the phone had non-removable batteries, which was quite a nuisance when it came to replacing it with the unorthodox but widely followed method of rebooting (removing the battery when the phone crashes of course!).

Some of the other new features include a 4GB RAM for faster processing and Android Marshmallow OS. The phone may come a little heavier by 10g and thicker by 0.5mm when compared to the A9.

With speculations at rife, one can only hope that the A9 pro lives up to its standards and delivers the kind of performance that Samsung loyal customers have learned to expect from its past devices.
