Rumors Speculating 3 iPhone Launches This Year: Report

BENGALURU: The rumors related to Apple had just settled down after the company officially launched iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. However, When Apple launched iPhone 5, it also launched iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. Rumors have again started surfacing about Apple soon launching iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, and iPhone 6C. Let us look at few possible speculations about the new iPhones from Apple, as reported by TOI.

Display

It is being speculated that the new iPhone 6C will feature a 4-inch display screen. iPhone 6C may be assembled by Wistron, if Apple partnered with them. The report also mentioned that iPhone 6S will be made by Foxconn and Pegatron. Three companies, which will be providing panels for iPhone 6S Plus, and iPhone 6C are Japan Display, LG Display and Sharp.

However, panels for iPhone 6S will not be coming from Sharp. All three Smartphones will feature Corning Gorilla Glass. It is rumored that Apple will use its force touch technology in iPhone, which is already being used in Apple’s Smartwatches.

Processor

Apple will keep iPhone 6S as well as iPhone 6S Plus on a higher configuration than 6C. The new Apple chip, A9, will be featured in 6S and 6S Plus but 6C will come with an older A8 chip. All three new variants of iPhone 6 will have NFC and fingerprint scanning.

Camera

The new iPhones will not have the same technology for cameras. It is being rumored that Apple may be using a new technology based on three-sensor camera. Given the fact that Apple recently patented a new technology named “Digital camera with light splitter.” the company may use it in its new iPhone. The new technology will allow Apple to capture more light and hence, better low light image will be possible. It will also feature improved optical zoom.
