Rumor: Is Apple to Launch 'iPhone 6 on Sept. 25?
BANGALORE: Rumors claim that the next generation iPhone will be unveiled on Sept 15th much ahead of its official launch date Sept 25th and the iPhone 6 with a 5.5 – inch screen will be called the ‘iPhone Air’, as per the reports on the Apple insider.com.
According to China.com, Apple’s inside sources have told the Media that the company is planning on launching the next generation iPhone and starting the sales of the devices by Sept 25th with China assumed to be in the list of the countries where the device will be available first. The sources also said that the 5.5-inch version of the iPhone 6 will be labeled as the ‘iPhone air’, while the ‘Air’ name tag is assigned to the company’s largest iPad and the Macbook presently.
As far as the pricing for the phones are concerned, the 16GB version of the larger screen iPhone 6 is likely to cost 5,998 yuan, that’s close to 
58,000 and the 4.7 inch version will cost 5,288 yuan, which is 51000 in Indian currency for the 32GB one.
However, the next generation iPhones will be launched sometime this year, where it is expected to feature a completely new design, with slimmer looks and better processing powers.
