Redmi 2A: Xiaomi's Cheapest Smartphone In India


BENGALURU: Chinese Smartphone giant, Xiaomi, has finally unveiled its most awaited successor to Redmi 1S, Redmi 2A. The new Smartphone is priced at 6000 and targets a wide range of audience in India. The phone inherits the looks of Redmi 1S but comes with higher specification than 1S.

The new Smartphone from Xiaomi comes with a large 4.7-inch touch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It packs a powerful quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and runs smoothly with 1GB RAM.

It boasts a 13-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera along with a LED flash. The phone provides 8GB internal memory, which is enough for storing high quality images clicked with its 13-MP camera.

On the software front, Android 4.4 powers Redmi 2A with Xiaomi’s MIUI skin to improve the user interface. Redmi 2A comes with a decent battery backup because if packs 2200mAh battery. The device also sports 4G connectivity.
