RIM to Launch BlackBerry 10 in January

Bangalore: Research in Motion (RIM) has finally announced the date of launching next generation BlackBerry 10 smartphone operating system. The company will hold multiple events across the world to launch the new operating system on January 30. The BlackBerry 10 operating system was supposed to be launched earlier this year.

At the launch event RIM will not only showcase the new operating system but will also launch the new smartphone which will be powered with new BlackBerry 10 operating system. It is expected that the company will be unveiling its first two smartphone powered with new operating system.

Some of the features of the next generation BlackBerry 10 operating system are BlackBerry Flow, BlackBerry Balance and BlackBerry Hub. The BlackBerry Flow is a new user experience that allows one to see minimized windows on their screens and show all the currently running apps. While the BlackBerry Hub is the focus point for the new operating system and it is the place where all messages, notifications, feeds, and calendar events can be seen.
