Oppo's Mirror 3 Smartphone With 64-Bit Processor Launched


BENGALURU: After the grand success of the Chinese Mobile phone maker, Xiaomi in India, here is another Chinese company bringing in phones to dazzle us. Oppo, has launched its mid range Smartphone with a 64-bit processor, reports TOI.

The Mirror 3 from Oppo packs a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and it runs on the Color OS 2.0 based on Android 4.4 KitKat. Stuck with a price tag of 16, 990, the hardware chipset racks in a 1.2GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor backed up by a 1GB of RAM. The phone is powered by a 2000mAh battery and it has an internal storage memory of 8GB which can also be expanded up to 128GB.

On the camera front, the mirror 3 gets an 8 mega pixel rear camera with a 5 mega pixel front facing one. The phone is equipped with most of the connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Other features include the infrared port that works with Oppo's Smart Remote Technology 2.0 to support remote control of various home appliances including televisions and air conditioners.

As far as the design is concerned, this Oppo phone comes with a dotted design on the back cover, protected by scratch-resistant UV coating and offers transparent and three dimensional texture effects.

According to the Financial Express, Commenting on the new launch, Tom Lu, CEO, OPPO Mobiles India said, “The Smartphone technology is constantly evolving. We are excited to introduce Mirror 3 to our picture-loving Indian customers. It comes with phenomenal camera quality.”
