Nokia's Two New 'Asha' Phones for 3,500


Bangalore: Nokia has added two more smartphones to their Asha Series. Both the new phones; Asha 205 and Asha 206 come equipped with dual SIM functionality. As of now these two smartphones have been launched in four counties; Indian Kenya, Nigeria and Indonesia. Both the new entrants are priced at 3,500 approximately.  27th November also marks the one year anniversary since the first Asha smartphones series were launched.

Asha 205

The smartphone Asha 205 comes with a QWERTY keypad and it also comes with a Facebook button which provides all the Facebook addicts direct access to the social networking site with the click of just one button.  Asha 205 comes in a single SIM variant also. This phone is available in three color variants; cyan, magenta and orange.

Asha 206

Unlike its cousin 205, Asha 206 comes with an alphanumeric keypad and a 2.4 inch display. This smartphone has an interesting camera application that allows the users to click their own pictures on the rear camera through their voice guided instructions.

Just like Asha 205, Asha 206 also comes in a single SIM variant option as well. The dual SIM Asha 206 comes with a slightly less battery life than the single SIM version. This phone is available in three color variants; cyan, magenta and yellow.

With these two new Asha phones, Nokia is introducing a new feature called Slam. This feature allows the users to share multimedia content to Bluetooth enabled devices without having to pair the two gadgets.
