Nokia Lumia 710, 800 Getting 'Tango' Update

Bangalore: Nokia is rolling out software update for its Windows Phone Lumia 710 and 800 which presently runs on Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango). The up-gradation of these devices with Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh (Tango) will bring many interesting features to the phones.

With the updation for the mentioned Lumia phones they will have better internet sharing option. The phones will be able to share 3G data connection over Wi-Fi with up to five other devices, turning itself into a Wi-Fi hot spot. One more interesting feature which the devices will get is ‘flip-to-silence’, so now onwards users have just to turn their phone face down and all the incoming calls and alerts will get silenced automatically.

The software update will also let the user download some new Nokia app from Windows Phone Marketplace. One of the notable apps which users can download after the update is ‘Camera Extras’ which enhances the camera functionality of the phone.

User can update their phone by connecting it to their computer using an USB cable and starting Zune software on their PC or Windows Phone 7 connector on Mac. The update is available from today till the end of July 2012.
