Bangalore: Asha 501, a look-a-like of Lumia is said to hit the Indian shores very soon. Daily Bhasker has reported that Nokia has already announced about this Smartphone in its Facebook page. The phone was also spotted on Infibeam. Besides Nokia also is also launching a portable charger for the device

The new device will be the first one to run on the new Asha OS, which is said to offer faster experience and more responsiveness. The new OS will also help developers on the other hand to create, publish and make more money from apps designed for the new range of Asha devices.

Asha 501 features a 3 inch capacitive touch screen and a single ‘back’ button. It is a dual SIM phone with an expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD support. The device comes with a free 4GB card along with Nokia Stereo Headset as an offer and will be priced at 5400.

Along with Asha 501, Nokia has also launched a new portable power pack – DC 18 with digital display and multiple color options. As Asha 501 has 48 days of stand- by time, it is suggested that the charger would be a little companion for emergencies.
