Nokia Announces Lumia 930, Its Flagship Windows Phone 8.1 Smartphone
BANGALORE: During a major presentation at the ‘Build’ developer conference, the Nokia CEO Stephen Elop has unveiled three new Lumia Smartphones, including its new flagship Lumia 930. Lumia 930 will be available starting from June for about $599, as reported by CNET.
Nokia Lumia 930 features a 5-inch full 1080p HD screen running with the latest Windows Phone 8.1. Lumia 930 has been powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.
This device sports a 20 MP rare camera optical image stabilization and Carl Zeiss optics. This also boasts a 1.2 MP front camera with HD video recording facilities. It includes several photo-editing features. Living Images, this new editing tool enables the users to merge images and videos for a creative cinematic image. Four microphones are available in the device, which offers a more robust audio-recording experience. Lumia 930 has been fueled with a 2420mAh battery and it includes connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, 4G LTE and in-built wireless charging.
Lumia 630 and Lumia 635 are the new low-end Windows Phone 8.1 devices from Nokia. These devices come with 4.5-inch displays, compatible and colorful plastic shells, quad-core Snapdragon 400 processors and512MB RAM. Lumia 630 comes with single and Dual SIM 3G variants, while Lumia 635 supports LTE. Lumia 630 will be available with a price tag of $159 for a single SIM device and $169 for a dual-SIM device before subsidies and taxes, whereas Lumia 635 will be offered with an unsubsidized price tag of $189.
