Motorola Xoom hits Indian market


Bangalore: The world's first tablet to run on the latest version of android, Motorola Xoom is all set to hit Indian market by July 2011. The most expected android Honeycomb device is already available online through retailers like tradus.in and letsbuy.com. Two variety of Motorola XOOM is available in India - Wi-Fi and the 3G version. The Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi version can be availed at 34,490 whereas the 3G version is available at Rs 39,990. The Xoom has great set of features as it's designed with a wide screen display of 10.1 HD(1280 x 800 pixel) and a 5 megapixel camera at the back and a 2 megapixel camera on the front. It also has additional features like Google mobile services, Corporate email, Bluetooth 2.1, Integrated GPS and 3250 mAh lithium - ion battery. It will be powered by Tegra 2 processor and will run on the latest version of android - android 3.1. The device is expected to give a tough competition to its competitors like Apple iPad, Samsung's Galaxy Tab, Blackberry Playbook, Huawei's Media Pad and HTC Flyer.
