Bangalore: Flipkart has started selling this anticipated smartphone in India. The official announcement of availability in India is yet to be done soon but you can order online via Flipkart.
Sporting a 4.3-inch super-AMOLED advanced display, the price will be around 34,000. Razr comes with front-facing 720p HD video camera and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video capture capability. It has 1GB of RAM, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).
Razr also sports Kevlar fiber and Corning Gorilla Glass to withstand scratches and scrapes. Every part of Razr is protected by a splash-guard coating, including the electrical boards inside. The phone will offer upto 10 hours talktime or 13.5 days standby on 3G usage.
In India, you will get the normal 3G version with HSDPA data speeds. Pricing is another issue with the phone, at INR 33,990, that is some steep pricing and will play an important role in the sales of the smartphone.
