Motorola Razr Maxx Coming to India for 31, 999


Bangalore: Motorola Razr Maxx which is also known by the name of Droid Razr Maxx, will be available in India on 24th of June 2012. Initially it will only be available online on the site, Infibeam.com.

Motorola Razr Maxx sports a 4.3-inch super AMOLED Advanced 540 x 960 pixels resolution screen. The device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It is powered with a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor coupled with 16GB of internal storage and 1 GB of RAM.

The phone comes with an 8 MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front camera. Along with this the camera also comes with features like geo-tagging, face detection, image stabilization and touch focus.

As of now black is the only color that this phone is available is in. The feature that makes Motorola Razr Maxx unique is its Kevlar body.

This phone boats of a power full battery life and battery backup as well. The battery has a whopping 607 hours of stand up battery life and up to 18 hours of talk time. This phone also supports 3G, EDGE/GPRS and Wi-Fi. The GPS in the phone supports Google Maps.

There are very few differences between Razr Maxx and the Razr. The main and most obvious difference is the exterior casing and an extended battery life. Razr Maxx comes with 3300 mAh battery in contrast to the Razr which comes with 1780 mAh battery.

The Razr Maxx comes at a price of 31,999. As of now Motorola haven’t given a date as to when these handsets would be available in stores. Maxx is placed in the segment of phones like the newly launched Xperia S and HTC One S.
