Motorola All Set To launch Moto X Play On September 14
BANGALORE: Motorola has sent out invites and points at the arrival of Moto X Play in India. The firm tweeted couple of pictures of the new Moto X Smartphone with the subtitle that reads about the best battery and camera features. The invite states September 14th is the day scheduled for its launch in an event going to be held in New Delhi, reports IE.
One of the tweet said, “Tired of those hazy memories? Get hitched with a perfect partner with a 21MP rear camera. #XOMotoX,” and the other tweet read, “No more getting dumped by your phone. Your perfect partner is coming with 30 hours of battery backup. #XOMotoX.”
The Moto X Play is the budget variant of the Moto X Style with smaller screen. The device sports a 5.5-inch FHD display at 403 ppi with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz alongside Adreno 405 GPU. Much like the Moto X Style, Moto X Play also features a Natural Language Processor and Contextual Computing Processor.
The Octa-core processor is combined with 2GB RAM and a 16 or 32GB internal memory options will be given to the consumers. The phone comes with an external memory slot and that will support up to 128GB.
The Moto X Play draws its juice from a 3630mAh battery, according to the company; it can last up to 30 hours of use with full charge. The rear camera is equipped with 21MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and the front-facing camera is powered by a 5MP sensor. This version of Moto X is also come with IP52 certified water repellant nano-coating.
