Micromax Launches Jelly Bean Tablet For 7, 049

Bangalore: With the back-to-back launch of tablet, high-end Smartphone and entry-level handset, Micromax is catching up with the mobile giants and becoming one of the leading manufacturers in Smartphones and tablets, not only in India, but in the global market. The company’s latest product, Micromax Funbook P360, an entry level tablet with excellent specifications is the latest one into the herd.

Priced at 7, 049, the tablet features a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 800*480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex-A9 single core processor and has1GB RAM. The device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and comes with an internal storage capacity of 1.65GB, which is expandable to 32GB via microSD card. The tablet sports a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera.

Funbook 360 comes pre-loaded with education related content and also offers access to Micromax’ own app and content service stores. It also provides Bluetooth connectivity for easy file transfers, 2G voice-calling and use of headsets. It has a 3000mAh battery and promises a standby time of 180 hours on a single charge.
