Micromax Canvas Spark Review: Made For India

BENGALURU: Noida based, Micromax, recently unveiled its latest Smartphone, Canvas Spark. The main aspect that makes this Smartphone a clear winner is its price. The launch price of Canvas Spark is just 4,999, reports India Today.

Display

The new Micromax Canvas Spark comes with a 4.7-inch display touch screen and 540x960 pixels resolution along with an impressive 234 pixels per inch. The display screen has Gorrila glass protection, which can go through minor bumps.

Software

The phone comes with the latest version of Google’s Android operating system. The good thing is that this Smartphone lets you enjoy the stock Android experience. However, the bad thing is that it comes overloaded with 15 additional Android applications that cannot be deleted or uninstalled.

Performance

Canvas Spark has a powerful processor that speeds up to 1.3GHz and has quad cores. In addition to that, it provides a delightful experience for gamers as it has Mali 400 graphics processing unit. Spark provides ample space to store data with its 8GB internal memory and it comes with 1GB RAM.

Camera

Micromax Canvas Spark sports a 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Besides clicking good quality images, it also captures HD (720p) videos. The camera app is remarkably well designed and does not confuse the user.

Battery

A long lasting 2,000mAh non-removable battery comes with this new phone, which lasts up to 7 hours of 3G talk time and up to 335 hours on standby. However, on practical usage, the phone may last up to 11 hours on being moderately used.
