Micromax Canvas 2.2, A 5-Inch Phablet Up For Grabs At 12,999

Bangalore: Micromax seems to be pretty busy these days, after Bolt A61 and Canvas Juice A77, yet another Micromax device has popped-up online. The Micromax Canvas 2.2, also called as Micromax A114 which made headlines last week is now available on Flipkart for 12,999. However, the official launch of this 5-inch phablet is awaited and it is expected that Micromax will officially announce the device soon.

This devices arrives with a 5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) IPS display, packs an 8 megapixel snapper on the back which is accompanied by a flash and is capable of recording Full HD videos at 1080p, it also includes a 2 megapixel snapper on the front. It will be running Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) out of the box, and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor alongside 1 GB of RAM. The Canvas 2.2 comes with 4 GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD memory card.

It also features Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) capabilities, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, built-in GPS and an FM Radio, it is 9.7mm thick and weighs 147 grams. The phablet draws power from a 2000 mAh battery that can provide up to 7 hours of talktime and a standby time of up to 290 hours.
