MapMyIndia Arrives at the Tablet Market with CardPad


Bangalore: MapMyIndia one of the leading providers of navigation services and digital maps in the country,entered the tablet market by launching a new CardPad. The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon S1 processor and also sports a 7-inch touch display, a 3D GPS navigation interface, 3G connectivity. The new CardPad features the latest navigation interface with 3D navigation for maps, including travel and city guides and house numbers. It also has Aura and all maps pre-installed. The CarPad is loaded with all-India maps, with over 5 million places, like national level maps, street level maps, house level maps and 3D landmarks and building footprints of major cities. It comes along with the car kit's head-rest windshield, allowing it to be used in car's front and back seats. It also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and in-built 3G connectivity. The device is priced at 22,990. Apart from the device, it will also include an 8GB SD card memory and a car kit worth Rs 6,990.
