MARK 1' Maker CREO Unveils First Update For FUEL OS

NEW DELHI: Bengaluru-based consumer technology company CREO on Friday rolled out its first software update for its indigenous Android-based Operating System "FUEL OS" which powers its flagship smartphone Mark 1.

The software update that introduces five new features comes after a month of the smartphone launch.

"Data Manager", a new feature embedded into Android's settings, allows users to regulate data access to the apps installed on the smartphone. This feature can help save data charges up to 25-30 percent, varying on usage.

"Enhance", a photo editor feature, allows for easy crop, transform and adjust images in addition to setting vignettes and applying various filters.

The "Selfie Flash" feature lights up the phone display for a split-second, allowing more light to come in for clicking better selfies under low-light conditions.

You can now make calculations on the go or WhatsApp any contact directly with a simple "Double Tap" on the home button.

"Echo" is a built-in answering machine in "FUEL OS". It now welcomes callers in six Indian languages -- Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.

This feature also comes with smart triggers such as automatically turning on when the phone is on silent mode or when an upcoming meeting is detected on the user's calendar.

The 19,999 4G-enabled device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on both sides with 2.5D curves.

It is powered by 1.95 GHz True Quad Core Helio X10 processor with 3GB RAM and 3100mAh battery.

"Mark 1" has a 32GB on-board memory which can be expanded upto 128GB and supports duel SIM.
