LeEco le 2 hardware specifications leak or rumors!

BENGALURU: The Chinese smartphone manufacturer LeEco, formerly known as LeTV, is about to release the LeEco Le 2, the successor of its budget handset Le 1s. Even though the company has not made any announcements about the specifications or release date, there are plenty of rumors about this all around the tech world.  The benchmarking list from GizmoChina also confirms the hardware details adding to the confusion.

Rumors and tech reviews suggests that the phone runs on a deca-core MediaTek MT6769T chipset with  2.0GHz clock rate, 3GB of RAM and an ARM Mali-T880 Graphics processor. Featuring a 5.5 inch full HD display, the device should most probably have a pretty bright and clear display for better viewing experience. The device comes outfitted with interesting camera features including 16MP primary camera with 4K video recording and moderate aperture for better quality images. The device also features an 8MP front camera for the selfie enthusiasts and runs on the latest Android Marshmallow Operating System with customized UI. May be in a trial to compete with the tech giants, the company has build this smartphone with a 32GB non expandable memory.

Another highlighting feature includes the ultrasonic fingerprint reader that is reported to be much faster in recognizing the fingerprints. The handset is expected to be constructed from ceramic or glass instead of the usual materials manufacturers use in smartphones. The Le 2 is probable to be a budget smartphone, much like its predecessor, the LeEco Le 1s.

The predecessor of Le 2, LeEco Le 1s was a budget phone with some good hardware and a premium look. Featuring a 5.5-inch Full HD display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 screen to protect it, the phone was impressive at the front. The LeEco Le1 came featuring an LED notification light, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, receiver and the front facing camera on the top bezel, while the bottom bezel features capacitive multi-tasking, home and back keys that light up only when the display is on. The phone was outfitted with a Quad HD display (2560 x 1440 pixels) with a brilliant screen to body ratio. Powered by a 2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC coupled with 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 64GB of internal storage, the Letv did not provided a memory card slot for storage expansion.
