Lava Launches Iris 504Q Smartphone With Gesture Control For

Bangalore: The Indian mobile makers are on the specifications spree lately, resulting in budget range of devices that sport quad-core processors and other exciting features. Latest to the edition is Lava’s Iris 504Q, wit quad-core process and gesture control technology. The device is launched today, and it will be available by end of June for
13,499.
The device sports a 5-inch display at a resolution of 720x1280 pixels and boasts of a slim design measuring in at 8.4-mm in thickness. Under the hood it packs a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. The internal storage is of 4GB and it can be expanded to 32GB via microSD card. Iris runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean mobile platform.
When it comes to camera, there is an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with BSI sensor and 2MP camera to the front. The device is powered by a 2000mAh battery.
The most appealing feature of the device is its gesture control; all you need to do is wave your hand in front of the phone to command it to do things like clicking photos, changing tracks on the music player and video player, tuning FM channels and browsing the gallery.
Lava has partnered with Hungama to provide entertainment and VAS on the Smartphone. These include Hungama’s Music Application and ‘LavaZone’ the storefront where you can find over huge collection music tracks, music videos, trailers & dialogues; mobile content such as ringtones & wallpapers. It also comes with some preloaded apps such as Opera web browser, Hungama Music App and Modern Combat HD from Gameloft.
