LG To Launch Optimus G Pro, A Note 2 Rival In India Today

Bangalore: LG is bringing Optimus G Pro, a 5.5 inch full HD phablet to India today, a perfect competant that is arriving too late into a market ruled by Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2.

Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor powers this ultimate device with a speed of 1.7GHz. A 2GB RAM supports the processor in task handling.

The 13 MP rear camera is assisted by software features like dual camera recording that shoots from both the cameras simultaneously as well as 360-degree panorama photographs. The phablet also has a 2.1 MP front camera for video chats.

Running on Android Jelly Bean, the phone has an inbuilt storage of 32 GB which can further be expanded with MicroSD card. A huge 3140mAh battery, which is one of the biggest in class, powers the device.

Optimus G Pro was expected to reach India on first week of June, but was further delayed till July. The device is supposed to carry a price tag of around 40,000. Meanwhile Samsung is prepping its next version of Note, Galaxy Note 3, which is expected to be released in the next 2 months.
