LG Built Google Nexus 5 With Nexus 4 Pricing Coming In October: Report

Bangalore:  Earlier this month, an “insider” from the Motorola camp generated rumors on upcoming Google Nexus 5 with a Motorola build. However, latest reports from South Korean media hints that Google is apparently pulling in LG again for its next release: the Nexus 5.

MyDrivers, a Chinese website claimed that Nexus 5 will be built based on LG’s G2 model and will be released in October. Furthermore, the device is said to be affordable as Nexus 4, with a price tag of $299 ( 18,343).

Let’s recap. LG G2 sports a 5.2 display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, run by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor at its core. It has a 13MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization. The phone with buttons at rear was the first to introduce new “Rear-Key” concept.

As rumors state, Google and LG will together build the Nexus 5 Smartphone whose design and specifications will be based on LG’s G2. But to cope up with the lowered price range of the soon-to-be-launched model, they have made some changes to the phone. Nexus5 has a 5-inch display and will run on quad -core Snapdragon 600 processor instead of the 800. It will support a 10MP camera with 1080 display. It is not yet clear whether the Nexus 5 Smartphone will sport rear-buttons like G2.
