Jelly Bean for Samsung Galaxy S Advance in January


Bangalore: In a latest report, Samsung is looking to take over half of India's handset market. With the speed at which they are rolling out updates to Jelly Bean operating system. The recent smartphone from Samsung to receive the update is the Galaxy S Advance.

Though this smartphone was to get the update in the month of November 2012, Samsung on their official Facebook page said that this handset would get the update in the month of January 2013.But with Samsung rescheduling the dates for the updates one cannot be absolutely sure that the update would definitely out in January 2013.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system is an improvement over its predecessor; the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The new operating system was designed to be smoother, faster, and more fluid.

Samsung Galaxy S Advance comes with a 4 inch super AMOLED capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 480 X 800 pixels. This smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz Dual-core Cortex A9 processor backed by 2GB of ROM. It also comes with a slot for a microSD card that allows the users to expand the memory up to 32 GB.
