Idea Launches 'ULTRA', 5 Inch Q-core Smartphone


Bangalore: With its 3G devices doing well, India’s 3rd largest mobile operator, Idea Cellular has now entered the 5 inch screen smartphone category, with the launch of ULTRA. The new device will be made available across all major 3G markets.

Idea ULTRA is targeted at youth and it is a premium phone loaded with interesting features at an attractive price point. The smartphone comes with a 5 inch IPS display with 16M colors, capacitive multi-touch and light sensor for better viewing experience. The dual-SIM ULTRA, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android Jelly Bean (4.1.2). Its 2000 mAh battery offers strong battery back-up. For shutterbugs, the device has 8MP primary camera with flash which can capture up to 90 continuous images of a moving object.

Idea ULTRA comes with Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-fi, offering connectivity to its users at all times. The phone is priced at 10,500 and is available in white glossy finish.
