Bangalore: TV makers from worldwide are showcasing their latest and upcoming high-end television sets at IFA 2012 in Berlin, Germany. There are numerous TVs showcased at the event and all of them are great products in some or the other way. Here is a list of the best TVs of IFA which stands out for their uniqueness in terms of technology and design.

1. The Thinnest TV: LG 55EM9600 OLED TV

This forthcoming TV from LG is crowned as the thinnest TV at the event and it is the thinnest TV market has seen so far. The TV sports an ultra-thin panel which measures mere 1mm. For its durability the bezel is made of carbon fiber-reinforced plastics (CFRP) which gives the chassis the needed rigidity and toughness. The TV is incredibility lightweight weighing just 10kg, thanks to the employment of CFRP.

Along with the insanely thin design the TV also promises revolutionary picture quality with the use of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology. Samsung have a competing OLED TV, but the Samsung TV is double the thickness of LG TV.

The official launch date of this television is not announced yet by the company. But it’s for sure that the cost of the device with be extremely high, it is supposed to cost around 5,00,000.
